Replacement Door Glass

Glass Doctor can replace your broken door glass or even upgrade the doorlite if you desire. Do you want to change the look of your home's entryways? Renovate them by cutting a new window into an existing steel or fiberglass door and having doorlites installed.

You may already have older doorlites that have yellowing frames. Glass Doctor can replace them with newer doorlites with frames that are guaranteed not to yellow and decay. Plus matching side window lites can be installed on either side of front entry doors.

If you are replacing or adding entry door glass, here is what your Glass Doctor shop will need to know when scheduling the service:

Door Type – Is the door steel, fiberglass or wood? Door window openings cannot be cut into wood.
Glass Application – Is the current door glass framed or flush with the door? Doorlite frames do not work with flush door window openings, most of which are fiberglass.
Size and Shape - Measure the outside of the frame to help determine the approximate glass size.
Door Location – Is the door a front entry, side entry, double entry, hinged patio, or sliding patio?
Glass Type – There are all kinds of glass: clear, energy efficient, grids inside/outside/between glass, blinds, hurricane safety, or decorative.
