But first...

What Is Mirror Glass?

A mirror is an object that reflects light and preserves enough of the detail of the original object to accurately depict the subject for the viewer. According to the Merriam-Webster, a mirror can be defined as "a polished or smooth surface (as of glass) that forms images by reflection."

Early mirrors may have been as simple as still, reflecting pools, while modern-day mirrors are typically made of smooth glass (safety or standard) coated in silver, reflective paint or aluminum powder.
